So, I've been working in the porn biz for one week now. I'm actually getting to do some fun stuff this week - namely editing the "behind the scenes" footage for a DVD extra on the upcoming "M@id to Fsck" (yes, it's as cheesy as it sounds). I have no idea if my names will be on the credits, though (might be cool if it was - my mum would be so proud ;-)

The behind the scenes footage is fun. It looks like the guys here have a great time when they go abroad to film. It's such a small company that it's like a family. I am really looking forward to going on my first location shoot (hopefully later on this year).

Only two real downsides to this job: I have to listen to Capital FM all day (aiee!); and the proprietor has an unsurprising tendency to call me honey/darling/sweetheart etc. I am going to refrain from calling him "darling" back, at least until I've been here a little longer, and I've established that slightly-indignant-cheekiness won't get me fired.

I am also having to refrain from making suggestions for content. Give me a few months, though, and I might be able to start doing that. A couple of times I've wanted to suggest that they get a new set of strap-ons for the g/g scenes: the ones they have are all crappy, attached-dildo, g-string models. Mine's vastly superior, what with it having an o-ring instead of an attached dildo, and a double-strap at the back. But they don't really need to know the details of my private life ;-)

It turns out C has ordered Donnie Darko on DVD as a surprise for me. I can't wait for it to turn up, though I suspect the extras won't feature the Jake Gyllenhaal fully nude scene I'm hoping for ;-)
